Ein gro\u00dfes Dankesch\u00f6n an den F\u00f6rderverein, der f\u00fcr das kulinarische Wohl gesorgt hat. Ungeachtet des Regens am 8.11 war der Weg von der Schule zum Martinsfeuer wieder sehr sch\u00f6n von den Anwohnern mit Laternen und Lichtern geschm\u00fcckt worden. Die Laternen der Kinder leuchteten auf dem Weg durch Herkenrath und erfreuten alle Teilnehmer und Besucher. Danke, sagen wir der Familie Meurer, die wie jedes Jahr uns den St. Martin auf dem Pferd stellen. Die Musikkapelle begleitete mal laut, mal leise die St. Martinslieder. Allen wetterbedingten Widrigkeiten getrotzt, brannte auf der Martinswiese ein imposantes Martinsfeuer und als Belohnung gab es im Anschluss f\u00fcr alle Kinder einen Weckmann. Beim St. Martinsfr\u00fchst\u00fcck in der Schule wurde in jeder Klasse ein gro\u00dfer Weckmann geteilt und gespannt wurde die Verlosung in den Klassen verfolgt.
